Lipinski to Host Veterans Fair on Tuesday, September 20 in Chicago Ridge

On Tuesday, September 20, Congressman Lipinski will host a Veterans Fair from 10 a.m. to Noon at Chicago Ridge Village Hall, 10455 S. Ridgeland Avenue. At the fair, representatives from the Congressman’s staff, the Illinois and U.S. Departments of Veterans Affairs, and other organizations will offer assistance with a variety of veterans’ issues, including: Military personnel and medical records, veterans’ claims and benefits, medals earned but not received, VA Hospital billing, placement in VA homes, GI Bill information, nominations for Service Academies, and requesting a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.

 

“We must honor the service of each and every one of America’s 22 million veterans -- in both word and deed,” Congressman Lipinski said.“This Veterans Fair is part of my outreach to all Third District veterans, and an opportunity for them to receive information and assistance from my office and other organizations. I look forward to meeting with Third District veterans and continuing to work toward ensuring America fulfills its obligations to all those who have fought for our freedom.”
